HIV-AIDS remains an area of large concern in Cameroon and Africa in general and Hope Foundation is fighting hard in rural communities to curb the spread of this disease through a number of educational, training and sensitisation programs. Football 4 Life is a sporting tournament created to educate on and raise awareness of current societal concerns including HIV-AIDS, malaria and drugs.
It brings together young people from cities throughout Cameroon to compete in a football competition to win the acclaimed title and a trophy specially imported from Germany. Using the popular sport of football as an attractor, players, coaches and spectators all have the chance to learn important information on how they can fight and prevent HIV-AIDS, malaria, drug abuse and other public health concerns. Previous supporters of this tournament include Puma, Condomi AG as well as other friends of Hope Foundation.
